Clinker is spread on the grate in a certain thickness after discharging into the grate cooler from the rotary kiln. The clinker progresses through the cooler by moving along the grate, and so the direction of the cooling air is at right angles to the direction of the clinker’s movement. The grate cooler functions as a cross-current heat exchanger. By this method, the clinker is cooled from 1300-1400℃ to 100℃ in just a few minutes.[/vc_column_text][ultimate_heading main_heading=”Features” alignment=”left” spacer=”line_only” spacer_position=”bottom” line_height=”4″ line_color=”” main_heading_font_size=”desktop:26px;” main_heading_line_height=”desktop:36px;” line_width=”50″ spacer_margin=”margin-top:15px;margin-bottom:40px;” el_class=”accent-border-color” main_heading_style=”font-weight:bold;” margin_design_tab_text=””][/ultimate_heading][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

  • Grate
The sloping row is in the support roller slot, fixed to the bottom surface of the movable frame by bolts. When the movable frame moves, the sloping row moves along the support roller slot’s surface, thus resulting in the reciprocating motion of the movable frame.
  • Shell
The shell is made of steel, and the purpose of the refractory mineral and refractory brick covering the inner surface of the shell is to prevent heat loss.
